The system is providing the clients with a comfortable environment, from the communication within a department up to the calls from the public telephone network by the patient bed-side. Comfortable communications with the nursing staff as well as easy telephone calls are now available to the patient. As being fully automated in its communicational terms, the system will improve the level of privacy. The staff member will also benefit from the system not only because of the comfortable communications with the patients within a department, but also due to the simple and transparent administration of the system as a whole, which can be further extended and connected to a computer.

This new audio visual system is designed to be used by the patients and nursing staff at the departments where no voice communication is required. It can mainly be used in hospital intensive care units, but also in pediatric or psychiatric departments where its ease of operation is certainly appreciated. This patient call-out system is designed to be used in physicians’ offices, examination rooms, laboratories, etc. for prompting patients in the waiting rooms to come in. Available e.g. in a physician’s office, the main control panel will allow conveyance of voice announcements to up to two destinations, such as separate waiting rooms. It can, for example, be used in the RTG stations where the attendant has to be closed in the control room, informing from there both the patients in the waiting room and those present in the room exposed to dangerous X-rays. The system can also be used for a mutual voice communication between two offices/operating rooms.
